episode 21 TURBO

Chapter 1 – Mark Webber is a former Formula 1 driver and Porsche brand ambassador. The Turbo models have always fascinated the Australian. He explains how the Turbo found its way from motorsport into series production. Chapter 2 – The Turbo GT is the super sports car of the Cayenne series. Rico Löscher was involved in the development of the fast SUV coupé from the very beginning. He provides insights into the development and the special features of the Cayenne generations. Chapter 3 – They’ve been cult since 1975 – the 911s with the Turbo logo on the rear. Each generation inspires in its own way, however, they all have one thing in common: pure driving pleasure. Meanwhile, we can look back on what are now eight generations of the sports car icon – from the 930 series with 260 hp to the latest 911 Turbo with 580 hp. Chapter 4 – Between the road and the race track: the 911 GT1 is one of the most sought-after sports cars in the world. Two turbochargers supply the six-cylinder boxer engine with additional air. At Lake Como, Mark Webber drives the road version of the flagship sports car – a real pleasure for the former racing driver.
