The Boxster celebrates its 20th anniversary

It’s been 20 years since the original Boxster was introduced, and on that good, round number which happens to coincide with the biggest departure from the Boxster formula (a turbo flat-four replaces the flat six), Porsche Panorama sent a reporter to central Florida to test them both side-by-side. Join Panorama’s Steven Cole Smith and Florida Citrus Region’s Dave Anderson, the owner of a pristine 1997 Boxster, as they drive the original and the 2017 718 Boxster S in the video above.
